General panel construction: Hermetic, with threaded male bronze terminals, NPT standard for coupling through normal or universal joints on both sides; length: 182 cm., width: 82 cm., thickness: 6.9cm., Weight: 38.6 kg.
High transparency float glass, antireflective, 3.2 mm thick. hermetic "U" type vinyl packing mean nominal power: 1.25 Kw., preformed expanded polystyrene insulation, for optimal thermal insulation of the absorption plate, with stability for 120 degrees centigrade.
The frame of the photothermic panels is made of extruded aluminum and patented BRONZE ANODIZED and produced for the exclusive use of COTAS-4 systems of INGENIERIA SOLAR COTAS 4.

participated, in 2010, in the contest called by our company, for the provision
of systems SOLAR ENERGY thermals, which generate safe and sufficient hot water,
for the HOTEL CASA GANGOTENA.
TALLERES DE INGENIERÍA was awarded, with its product of the highest quality
and efficiency, that exists in the world market so far, called SUPER PREMIUM;
and, the Engineer Montoya participated in the design of the hotel project,
giving his professional contribution in the areas of SOLAR ENGINEERING and
SOLAR ARCHITECTURE, to guarantee the correct installation and operation of his
solar thermal system, which supplies hot water to all rooms from the hotel, day
and night, regardless of the weather in Quito.
Engineer Montoya also provided us with a gas-fired hot water generator.
with automatic operation, to supply exclusively the kitchen and general
services areas. The quantity and quality of hot water that we have at the hotel
since its opening in 2011, until now, is impeccable, and the necessary
maintenance work is minimal; however, if we require any type of support from
Engineering Workshops, we receive it immediately, at any time.
